Pyjama day!
NOORAT Primary School students donned their pyjamas recently to raise funds for a good cause.
During her final week with the school last month, principal Ilona Watkins said students enjoyed a dress up day to raise funds for The Pyjama Foundation.
“The Pyjama Foundation empowers children in foster care,” she said.
“It was a day organised by our student leadership team and a huge success.
“All students and staff were cosy and warm in their pyjamas on a fresh day.”
The day also involved a celebration as students got to cosy up and watch Charlotte’s Web, which the Year 3-6 class had recently finished as a novel study.
Mrs Watkins said the initiative continued the school’s efforts to provide students with agency.
“We amplify student voice and encourage their passion and input about topics that are important to them,” she said.
