Minister Tierney meets with Corangamite
MINSTER for Regional Development of Victoria Gayle Tierney spent time in Port Campbell with Corangamite Shire Council representatives last week.
Region update: Corangamite Shire deputy mayor Laurie Hickey, Minister for Regional Development of Victoria Gayle Tierney and Corangamite Shire mayor Kate Makin spent time discussing priorities for the region last week.
Mayor Kate Makin, deputy mayor Laurie Hickey and shire chief executive officer David Rae spoke to Ms Tierney about a number of topics which included:
Update on the Port Campbell Town Centre Revitalisation Project;
Outlined the Port Campbell Surf Life Saving Club’s aspirations for a facility upgrade;
Cobden SES; and
The future of the former Terang Primary School site.
