Jordan wins monthly medal
MORTLAKE golfer Jordan Wareham took out the July stroke, monthly medal at the Mortlake Golf Club last Saturday.
Wareham finished on 20-89-69 to finish ahead of runner-up Kevin Etherton on 10-81-71.
Third place went to Todd Lamont on 8-81-73.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 Garry Shalders and 9/19 Hamish Weatherly.
Balls down the line: Todd Lamont, Richard van Diemen, Rob Field, Garry Shalders and Merv Hampson.
Bruce Twaddle was NAGA.
In the handicap matchplay, Dougal Ranken defeated Jack Lehmann 1up, Rob Field def Hamish Weatherly 2/1, Kevin Etherton def Garry Shalders 1up.
Dave McNicoll def Ian Jubb 19th, Richard van Diemen def Merv Hampson 2up and Glen Byers def Bruce Twadle 6/4.
