Hot night on the road
IT was a hot night on the roads for Camperdown cyclists last Friday.

Race nine saw riders take to the circuit in very warm conditions, pushing riders to their limits.
In her second ever ride, Izzy crossed the line first with the winning time of 14.02 (a personal best).
This was a great ride for Izzy, riding solo for the last kilometre and having the front car as support.
In second place was Henry in a time of 12.41, with Nathaniel third in 11.50.
The night also saw Josh achieve the fastest time recorded this season, 8.58, going under the golden nine minute mark (Oliver previously set the record at 8.59 many rides ago).
Other times lodged for race nine were Oliver 9.07, Josh 8.58 (a personal best), Zane 9.54, Thea 11.56, Quinn 11.35, Finny 19.16 and Lawson 16.41.
The senior race was abandoned when a younger rider scored a flat tyre mid-race and other riders stopped to help out and rolled to the finish line.
The club is heading into full Christmas spirit on the last race night of the year.
The club will host a barbecue after the senior race.
Junior and senior riders are asked to add some Christmas cheer to their bikes or riding kit for the last race.
