Grand final win to Mavericks
MAVERICKS has taken out the A grade grand final match at Cobden Night Netball Association.
A grade premiers: Mavericks.
Mavericks defeated Tigers 36-28 in the association’s grand final last Wednesday night, August 7.
Mavericks player Ava Conheady was awarded the ‘best on court’ medallion for the game.
A grade runners-up: Tigers.
Fever defeated Vixens to take out the B grade grand final in a nail-biter 20-19 last Monday.
Fever player Bella Brebner was awarded the ‘best on court’ medallion for the game.
The committee thanks all players for another great season, along with the team managers and girls who stepped up to umpire.
Expressions of interest are now out for the junior netball round-robin tournament to be held in term four.
