The Cobden and Camperdown Community Bank are once again supporting the South West Big Freeze fundraiser and selling beanies from both branches.

Community bank staff member Di Van Heusden said the beanies are $25 each with all funds going to the South West Big Freeze fundraiser which helps support Fight MND.

“The board has given them $7000 which will go to the Big Freeze,” she said.

Ms Van Heusden said the bank has supported the initiative for a number of years and would continue to do so.

“They (the beanies) are popular,” she said.

“It’s exciting how many people come into get a beanie.

“We had 100 at each branch and there’s a lot less left now.

“Come in and grab a beanie and support the cause.”
