Demons shine at league vote count
LISMORE Derrinallum netballers Emily Murray and Stella Horspole have shone bright at this week’s annual vote count for the Mininera League.

Murray finished runner-up in the C grade best and fairest count with 27 votes, just three behind the winner, Ararat’s Hannah Maxwell.
She also topped C grade’s goal shooting with 351 goals for the home and away season.
Fellow Demon Stella Horspole was awarded the best and fairest runner-up trophy in the 18 and under vote count.
Horspole finished the home and away season with 27 votes, just two behind eventual winner Lottie Volker from Caramut.
The talented goaler also topped the goal shooting for her age group, recording 381 during the home and away rounds.
