Appeal for information

POLICE are appealing for information following a break-in at the Bowser Bean service station in Lismore last Friday.

By wd-news

Warrnambool Police detective acting sergeant Derek Verity said police are still investigating the incident, which occurred in the early hours of Friday, November 1.

“They’ve allegedly forced the front window to gain entry and searched it,” he said.

“There were no cigarettes, or anything left on scene, so they didn’t get anything other than some cash which was in the float.

“The offenders have then driven off – we believe they have driven off in a white vehicle.

“They were headed towards Ballarat – that’s all we’ve got at this stage.”

Anyone with information, CCTV footage or dashcam footage is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or leave an anonymous tip online at crimestoppers.com.au.
